Join us at Microsoft in Chicago for A Day of Unity

We are going to Chicago! Brandon will be hosting a workshop at the Microsoft office in Chicago for their “A Day of Unity” event on Wed May 14. Come down and join us for some mid week game development fun if you are in Chicago this week!

Publishing Games on Windows

 

Start the day by learning the process and requirements to publish your game to both the Windows Store and the Windows Phone Store and why you should care about bringing your games to the Windows platform.

Introduction to Unity

In this workshop, you will be guided by Microsoft and Unity experts through learning the toolset and building a 2D game and exporting it to Windows and Windows Phone. Beginners may walk away with enough fundamental knowledge to bring their own game ideas to life.

Unity Porting Lab

In this lab, you will receive expert assistance from Microsoft and Unity to port your Unity games to Windows and Windows Phone. Come prepared with your pre-existing game to make the most of this session.

4:00 PM

Demos, Voting, & Prizes

Beginners & experts will get together to showcase their ported game in a 2-minute demo, and the audience will vote for the best apps. Prizes will include software licenses, the latest Windows Phone Devices and an exciting grand prize.
